Safety tips for children in hot cars!

Loading Image...

This month is on track to become the hottest June on record.

Take a few minutes to teach your children some basic “how to” car safety tips including:

1) how to unbuckle their car seat/safety belt
2) how to honk the horn
3) turn on flashers/hazard lights
4) unlock car doors

How sad that this even needs to be addressed.

@TownHubAdmin : This item seems like advice that could have unintended consequences. I hope people consider the age, tendencies, and capabilities of the individual kids before following this.

Sad to hear about that 5-year old who died by being left in a car. I can't even imagine.

I hope I am totally wrong about this, but I think it has been done on purpose before, so they can get rid of a child and say it was an "accident"...

@HarleyRider : I think once in a while it is done on purpose. Or it's done by someone so drugged out they don't even know it or care about it. But I think most of the time it's just an accident
