On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in the 359th District Court of Montgomery County, (Judge Damico presiding for Judge Kathleen Hamilton) Defendant Jeffrey Pittman (47, Porter) pleaded guilty to the felony offenses of Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child and Sexual Assault of a Child.

Pittman was then sentenced to 30 years confinement in TDCJ-ID on the Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child charge and to 20 years TDCJ-ID on the other charge. These sentences will run concurrently and Pittman will not be eligible for parole, and will not be released until completion of his 30 year sentence.

According to reports from investigators, in March of 2018, Detective Foreman, with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, began investigating an offense involving child sexual abuse. It was discovered that the Defendant had been taking inappropriate photographs of his minor stepdaughter. Special Agent Nathan Curry with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), also with the Internet Crimes Against Children Division at Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, joined MCSO in the investigation. Special Agent Curry and Detective Foreman determined that Defendant was a wildland firefighter employed by Texas A&M Forest Service. A forensic download of the Defendant's phone revealed numerous images of Child Pornography including images of his minor stepdaughter. It was discovered throughout the investigation that the Defendant engaged in sex acts and took inappropriate photos of his stepdaughter for years, from approximately age 8 through the time of the arrest.

Laura Bond, ICAC/HT Prosecutor: "It was because of the collaboration with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the US Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and other members of the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce that this child was able to get the justice she deserves."

I so hope the (nice) vigilante committee inside the prison show this POS pig how the inmates treat people like this . I pray this innocent little girl and the others to get the proper and needed therapy they need after suffering from him.

Carol, be grateful for 30 years with no early parole. Heck, it could'a been 47 months! Now that would be a travesty.

His prison buddies won't take kindly to his offense and will show him what it's like to be abused. He will deserve every bit of being someone's prison girlfriend.
