According to reports from DPS, at around around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, a passerby came across the body of a young man on the side of McCleskey Road and called 9-1-1.

Football coach Tony Robles was able to identify the deceased victim as 17-year-old Joshua Givens.

The suspect, 23-year-old Logan Chase Foster (photo below), eventually turned himself in late Sunday evening. He has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid - Causing Death, and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $100,000 bond.

It was a sad weekend with tragic deaths of teenagers. Thoughts going out to friends, family and their schools. No child should have their life ended like this.
