The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Houston Police are asking the public's help identifying and locating several armed robbery suspects.
According to MCSO Deputy Squier, on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at about 2:40 am, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an armed robbery which had just occurred at the "Circle K" Phillips 66 Gas station located at 21900 FM 1314 in Porter. Deputies were advised that several black males, armed with pistols, had just robbed the store and multiple customers. When deputies arrived to the location no suspects were on scene. Deputies began their investigation to include viewing the in store video surveillance.
Video surveillance showed one of the suspects opened the front doors of the business, but did not enter. After a short time, a second suspect was seen physically pushing a victim/customer into the store by placing a gun to the back of the victims head. Once inside the store the suspect pushed the victim out of the way and jumped over the counter. At that time, the remaining suspects entered the store displaying handguns. One of the suspects grabbed the store employee, put a pistol to the employees head and ordered him to open the cash register.
During the robbery two citizens entered the store and all four suspects were seen on the video kneeling and attempting to hide. Eventually, one of the suspects went outside to the customer's car and robbed them of their phones before returning to the store to continue the robbery. The suspects stole cigarettes and cash before exiting the store and fleeing in a black Dodge Ram truck.
Deputies learned that shortly after this robbery, the Houston Police Department had a similar robbery in their jurisdiction. The suspects entered the Exotic Adult Store located at 15800 block of Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX. During that robbery, the suspects disarmed the security guard and sexually assaulted a victim at the store. The suspects fled in the security guards vehicle when the alarm was trigged by employees. The Houston Police Department located the vehicle and a short pursuit ensued before the vehicle crashed. Houston Police Department was able to apprehend one suspect, but the remaining three suspects are at large.
