Sure hope they won't be reserved seating. Like those reclining seats...

Help me understand the issue with reserved seating. I’m not seeing the disadvantage to it.

@clint961 I'm just used to the old school of "get there early"....first come first served. If you don't get the best seat in the house, it's cause you didn't plan and get there soon enough to get it.

@clint961 I think the problem I have with it is that is costs a bit more and then when I get there I want to feel free to move if I want and see an opening. I don't like anyone being behind me and I know I am willing to get there earlier to get a seat way, way up.

When I see on the chart that someone is about where I would want to sit then I just don't go. I am getting more comfortable with reserved seating (going to the movies is a bit of a rare thing for us) but I still don't like the feeling of being boxed in to a certain seat.

I would be interested to hear why others don't like reserved seating; I know my reasons are very specific to me.

Love the reserved seating. Buy your tickets ahead of time and go. No stress. Every where you go now there is reserved seating. What's wrong with that?

@clint961 I see no disadvantage to reserved seating. You know exactly where you will be sitting ahead of time. No problem!

I lived in Thailand and they have been doing this for at least a decade... Nice to know what seats are available before you buy your tickets and possibly get stuck in the first row far left.
